About Spiez
Spiez is located in a bay on Lake Thun in the Bernese Oberland, Switzerland. In Spiez, the rail lines Bern-Interlaken and Bern-Visp(-Italy) meet. Thus, despite the small number of habitants (12'500), many international trains call at the station, making the city easy accessible by public transit. A tourist attraction is the Castle of Spiez that dates back to the 10th century.
