Peggy's Cove
The bay of Peggy's Cove
... The town derives its name from the bay (Margeret's Bay) on which it is located. The town was officially incorporated in 1811 by German immigrants, but the region was probably settled earlier. Since 1962, construction restricions preserve the look of the town.
